The Kings started life in New York as the Rochester Seagrams in 23, before rebranded as the Rochester Royals in ’45 and Cincinatti Roals in ’57. In ’72 the team relocated to Kansas City and became the Kansas City-Omaha Kings, before moving again to Sacramento in ’85.
